SELF-MADE - SELBSTGEMACHT (2013)
a physiology of baking

a performance by Hanna Sybille Müller
A research in which dance, music and baking is investigated on the basis of the dance theoretical effort theory of Rudolf von Laban.
All starts with a recipe. The recipe becomes a score, therefore a concert and in the end a choreography. The sound defines the rhythm of the actions. Rosemary-Heidesand-Cookies are made in front of the audience. All this happens in an absurd, irritating baking situation, all on the floor.
During the process the attention will shift from the ingredients towards the qualities of the movement. The movement will come in the foreground and what will be left will be a choreography and some cookies.
Music: Marcello Silvio Busato
Dance: Irina Müller, Hanna Sybille Müller
